Maybe it's because of my love of rom-coms, but I thoroughly enjoyed this movie. There's so much to love. The lead character is as quirky and strong as the plot that gives some insight to the perceived potential of the average women in the 1950's. Gotta love the retro vibe, which is spot on. The sets are period-perfect. The color is era-inducing. And the clothes! I'd kill for some of the clothes in this movie! Mad Men fashion fans will not be disappointed.
Oh, and it's in French. So, yeah, basically has all the elements of a good film.
